Working Words of Wisdom

In conversation with a coworker this afternoon, I was reminded of a piece of advice that had been given to me several years ago.

The advice was given to me, by a woman who was my manager at the time. We did not get along in any manner. Were constantly butting heads on ideas and how to better the product. Even outside of the work place, we did not like who the other person was.

The reason I tell you that, is because in spite of the dislike for each other, what she told me that has stuck with me now for several years. (Im talking almost 8-9 years ago now).

When you are struggling with issues at work, for whatever reason they may be, whether tis the attitude of other coworkers, obstacles preventing you from finishing a project, WHATEVER it is, remember this
Every day that you go to work- one of three scenarios will happen:
A) you get up, go to work. At the end of the day you come home just as you have done every other day.
B) you get up, go to work. And while there, are either fired or laid off.
C) you get up, go to work, and decide that you've had enough and turn in your resignation.

No matter what- you can guarantee that ONE of those three things is going to happen.
